Soman Wherry and the Lord Mayor's Procession, Norwich - May 1988

Nosher's university placement year was working at the Soman Wherry Press, a printing company in Norwich which at the time was owned by Robert Maxwell's British Printing and Communications Corporation (BPCC). Whilst fiddling around creating Multiplan (spreadsheet) business models that covered whole walls, doing on-line credit checks via dial-up BBS systems, playing with Wang Computers, ICL DRS200s, an early Opus PC-III (with 4-colour CGA graphics!) and a Sperry-Burroughs mini, Nosher also found time to be tasked with building some of the Soman-Wherry entry into the Lord Mayor's procession in Norwich in '88, which was to have a Dutch theme, hence the windmill (and a large quantity of printed Dutch bulb magazines from the factory)
