Summer at Pitt Farm, Harbertonford, Devon - 1989
From time-to-time Nosher would go and hang out at Pitt Farm with Angela and parents in the deepest part of the South Hams in Devon. Quite often it would involve cycling from Plymouth to the farm, not far from Totnes - about 18 miles along the A38 (a motorway-grade 3-lane road). Somewhere in between all this, I suppose I did some University work. These were great times - summer seemed to last for ever (sounds like a song...)

Pitt farm was like three houses in one: Angela's bit had two bedrooms, a bathroom and a sort-of junk-room area and was lower-ground level (next to the old cowshed) |
