The old Hemstock's in Diss gets some work done
Camping in the Dunes, Waxham Sands, Norfolk - 9th July 2022
We take the van over to Waxham Sands camp site for a few days, which since the site's takeover is slightly less 1980s than it used to be, what with tarted-up bogs, new showers and an improved shop. There's clearly an aim to haul it up-market, as the Saturday night fish and chip van has been replaced with something doing Sri Lankan food. It's academic though as we just about manage to squeeze into an early walk-in slot for food at the legendary Nelson Head pub down the road in Horsey.
