A chunk of the old pub gang - including Colin and Jill on a surprise visit - are out at the Ampsersand Tap on Sawmills Road in Diss, to have a few beers for Marc's imminent birthday. A few days before that, the remains of the BSCC that actually still cycle - in this case Nosher, Gaz and The Boy Phil - are out at the Crown in Pulham, after which there's another stop at the Tap for a Burger Jam Thursday special.
